A’ja Wilson, former South Carolina phenom and current Las Vegas Ace has won the KIA 2022 WNBA MVP Award after winning the Defensive Player of the Year Award just a few weeks ago. This is Wilson’s second MVP Award of her professional career, previously earning the distinction in 2020.

She’s also a 3-ime All-Star, 2018’s Rookie of the Year and an NCAA Champion at South Carolina.

Pretty good, wouldn’t you say?

Wilson averaged 19.5 points and just under 10 rebounds per game this season for the Aces.

Las Vegas is heading to the WNBA Finals after downing Seattle Tuesday. The Aces will take on the Connecticut Sun for the title.
