Report: Former South Carolina WR Bruce Ellington finds new NFL home

Former South Carolina WR Bruce Ellington didn’t have to wait long to find a new team after being cut by the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday.
After missing the entire 2016 season with a hamstring tear, the ex-Gamecock will be heading from San Francisco back to the East Coast for the 2017 campaign.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the New York Jets have taken a flyer on Ellington:

Ellington was selected in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the 49ers and, in two healthy seasons, has recorded a total of 19 catches for 215 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned 42 punts and 50 kickoffs during his time in San Francisco.
