South Carolina QB commit Luke Doty takes home prestigious award

Although 4-star 2020 QB Luke Doty is dealing with a hand injury that caused him to miss most of the playoffs, he still turned in an incredible senior season.
Now, the South Carolina QB commit has a trophy to commemorate that fantastic 2019 campaign.
As you can see below, Doty was named South Carolina’s Mr. Football on Saturday during the state’s annual North-South game:

Doty will compete with Ryan Hilinski and others for the South Carolina starting job next year.
Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Doty is the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2020 and the No. 2 overall recruit from the state of South Carolina.
