Spencer Rattler’s hot first half vs. Mississippi State elicits fan reaction on social mdia

Spencer Rattler is kind of playing out of his mind.

The South Carolina quarterback led a 98-yard touchdown drive early against Mississippi State Saturday. He topped it just a few minutes later with a 99-yard drive, the longest of the Shane Beamer era twice over.

Most of that had to do with Rattler, who is playing with supreme confidence right now. He has yet to miss a throw, sitting at 10/10 for 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns with an average gain of 17.6 yards per pass.

South Carolina has jumped out to a 14-7 lead with 8 minutes remaining in the 2nd quarter thanks to Rattler’s impressive start. And fans are starting to notice.
