Deion Sanders and his first year at Colorado will be featured in the upcoming second season of Amazon’s “Coach Prime” documentary. The head coach announced the show was picked up for a second season earlier in the year, and Amazon will drop the second season on Dec. 7.
Amazon revealed a trailer with a first look at the latest season Wednesday on social media. There should be plenty of intrigue with the behind-the-scenes glimpse of Sanders’ program in Boulder.
The trailer includes a number of the storylines from the 2023 season, including Colorado’s hot start, Travis Hunter’s serious injury against Colorado State, references to “It’s personal” and the struggles of trying to turn around the Buffs program.

The first season of the documentary was unveiled last year on Dec. 29. That 4-part season documented Sanders’ time at Jackson State and eventual departure for Colorado.
Now, fans can prepare for an even up-closer look at Sanders’ work in Boulder and everything that went into the 2023 season.
