College GameDay signs feature plenty of puns ahead of Army-Navy game

College GameDay signs were very visible on ESPN Saturday morning as the popular pregame show broadcast live from the site of the Army-Navy game in East Rutherford, N.J.

As is typical of this game and others, there were plenty of puns and shots taken at the other side, including references to mascots. Army comes into the game with an 8-3 record, while Navy is 3-8.

Army has put together a run in the series since Jeff Monken took over as coach in 2014 after the program lost 14 in a row to Navy. The Black Knights have won 4 of the last 5, including a 15-0 win last year when the game was played at West Point because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
