Florida State announces signing of elite 4-star RB, long-time Georgia commit
Florida State is in the process of getting its 2025 recruiting class together. A dreadful 2024 season for the Seminoles hasn’t prevented the school from adding some elite talent so far.
The school pulled off its biggest heist yet on Wednesday by flipping Ousmane Kromah from his commitment to Georgia. The 4-star running back, a Georgia native. had been committed to the Bulldogs since October.
“One of the best running backs in the country has found a home in #Tribe25 – welcome to the #NoleFamily,” said the team in an official announcement post.

The 247Sports Composite ranking has Kromah as the No. 4 RB and the No. 10 prospect out of Georgia in the 2025 class. The RB stars for Lee County High School in Leesburg, GA, and excels in basketball as well.
As a senior, Kromah rushed for 1,290 yards and 15 TDs. The talented prospect helped lead the Lee County Trojans to a 13-0 record and the No. 4 ranking in Georgia in 2024.
Kromah is the lone RB to sign with the Seminoles for 2025 thus far. The RB will join a position group in Tallahassee that features Kam Davis and Micahi Danzy.
“I just feel like (Tallahassee) is home. I feel comfortable, I feel like I can be myself,” said Kromah.
The Seminoles beat out Georgia, Miami, and Auburn, among others, for Kromah. The RB’s addition gives the Seminoles the No. 25 class for 2025.
