West Memphis, Arkansas offensive lineman Chris Morris committed to Texas A&M on Oct. 16, 2019, but appeared to be on flip watch when he decided to visit Ole Miss this past weekend. Morris has ended the suspense – he’ll be an Aggie.
The 4-star recruit reached out to GigEm247 to reveal that he will be signing with Jimbo Fisher’s squad on Wednesday. Morris, listed at over 6-3, 287 pounds, is rated the No. 1 recruit out of Arkansas, No. 4 offensive guard and No. 103 prospect overall nationally for the 2020 class on the 247Sports Composite. In addition to being an early signee, he is also expected to be an early enrollee.
In addition to Texas A&M and Ole Miss, Morris had 33 other scholarship offers, including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Tennessee.
