Texas A&M star Ainias Smith left Saturday’s game against New Mexico due to an unspecified injury.
ESPN’s Alyssa Lang reported during the third quarter that Smith left the game and is out due to an undisclosed injury.
Prior to his injury, however, Smith was electrifying at Kyle Field. He can play nearly every skill position on the field, too.

During the first half, Smith caught 2 passes for 16 yards. He also recorded a ridiculous punt return; however, it was called back due to a suspect penalty. Smith left for the locker room following that wild punt return late in the first half.
Texas A&M leads New Mexico 27-0 late in the third quarter, but the Aggies will be without Smith for the remainder of the game.
Jimbo Fisher will update Smith’s status during his post-game press conference.
