Colin Cowherd: Comments about Jimmy Garoppolo are why Johnny Manziel will never play another NFL game

Johnny Manziel’s well-documented comeback has some still skeptical. As it turns out, one of those in the non-believer camp is FS1 radio host Colin Cowherd.
But Cowherd made that anti-Manziel comeback opinion known after hearing what the former Heisman Trophy winner said about San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.
Garoppolo made headlines during the week when it was reported that he went on a date with adult film star Kiara Mia. Manziel fired against the backlash on his Barstool Sports podcast “ComebackSZN.”
Here was what Manziel said (via the New York Post):
“What’s wrong with it? All these soft NFL reporters, saying, ‘Oh man, he’s going on a date with a — dude, let the guy live his life! So what, what she does for a living,” Manziel said. “If anything, that’s going to make him play better on a Sunday or a Monday.”
“He’s backing it up on the field, he hasn’t lost a game. Nothing. Guy’s doing everything … and he’s enjoying life. So be it.”
So naturally, Cowherd took to the airwaves to explain why Manziel’s Garoppolo comments suggest that he hasn’t changed as much as he’d like people to think.
Here was what Cowherd said on FS1’s “Speak For Yourself.”

That’s quite the conclusion to jump to after Manziel defended a fellow quarterback from his 2014 draft class.
Perhaps Manziel is due for a Baker Mayfield-like face-off with Cowherd.
