Devon Achane shows off track speed by setting meet record against Texas

Devon Achane is one of the fastest running backs in all of college football.
But the Texas A&M star is one of the fastest people in the SEC, period. In fact, he set a meet record against Texas on Saturday.
As you can see below, Achane ran the 100-meter sprint in 10.12 seconds, besting the meet record of 10.28 seconds:

That’s what we call SEC speed! Achane finished in first place with that time, leaving the rest of the field in the dust.
His speed translates to the gridiron, too. This fall, he figures to take on a bigger role in the Aggies’ offense now that Isaiah Spiller is off to the NFL Draft.
