Former Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett will finally make his NFL debut on Sunday when the Cleveland Browns host the New York Jets at 1 p.m. on FOX.

Garrett, the Browns’ prized rookie, was not listed on the status report, though he was limited in practice this week, according to Pro Football Talk. He will play Sunday, the report stated.

“It is exciting,” Garrett said. “I am ready to play, ready to show what I can do.”

Garrett has been out since Sept. 6 when he suffered a high-ankle sprain after a teammate fell on his leg.

“Am I at my peak?” Garrett said. “No, but it is good enough for me. I can move, I can run, and I can bend. If I can do that, then I can be out there, and I can make a difference.”

Garrett was selected by the Browns as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

He recorded 8.5 sacks for the Aggies last season.
