Kevin Sumlin contacted by HBCU program about head coaching job, per report

Kevin Sumlin has reportedly been contacted about a head coaching job in Texas.
Fox 26 KRIV Sports Director Mark Berman is reporting that Prairie View A&M has contacted Kevin Sumlin during its search for a new head coach.
Prairie View A&M (@PVAMUPanthers) officials are in the midst of their search for their next head coach and according to college football sources they have contacted Kevin Sumlin to gauge his interest in becoming the Panthers next head coach.

Sumlin, 57, has coached at Houston (35-17), Texas A&M (51-26) and Arizona (9-20). He was fired at Arizona on Dec. 11, 2020 after Arizona lost to Arizona State 70-7. Sumlin is not currently coaching.
PVAMU head coach Eric Dooley submitted his resignation earlier this week ahead of an expected to move to take the job at Southern in January.
