What Kevin Sumlin said after Texas A&M’s epic collapse against UCLA

Yeah, we’re not sure what happened either.
Kevin Sumlin’s Aggies blew a 44-10 lead against UCLA, and the Bruins’ 34-point comeback was one point shy of the largest comeback in NCAA history. UCLA ultimately won 45-44.
UCLA QB Josh Rosen threw for nearly 500 yards and four TDs, including the amazing game-winning TD.
Ultimately, the Aggies head home to try and regroup ahead of Nicholls State.
Kevin Sumlin met with the media following the loss:
Kevin Sumlin: You don't explain it. We're not making excuses for anything. We didn't get it done as coaches.

Sumlin: Donovan Wilson and Nick Starkel will be evaluated tomorrow. That's all I can tell you. That changes things dramatically.

Sumlin: UCLA went to a max protection scheme. That helped and Caleb Wilson ate us alive. They utilized him in the middle of the field.
