Terry Bussey, 5-star ATH for 2024, reveals SEC commitment

Terry Bussey was one of the last remaining 5-star players in the class of 2024 without a commitment. That changed Thursday evening.

A 5-star athlete out of Timpson High School in Timpson, Texas, Bussey generated a host of offers throughout his recruitment. In the end, Bussey picked the Aggies for his final commitment over Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama and LSU.

Bussey is listed at 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds and is a top-20 recruit for the 2024 recruiting cycle. He has competed in track and field while also playing basketball and baseball throughout his high school career. Bussey has played all across the football field at the high school level, and he has playmaking ability no matter which side of the ball he lines up on.

The 247 Sports Composite rates Bussey as the 19th overall player in the country and the No. 2 ATH nationally. He’s also rated as the No. 5 player from Texas, giving the Aggies another major in-state addition.

With Bussey added to the fold, the Aggies now hold the No. 3 recruiting class for 2024 per the 247 Sports Team Composite. Bussey is the second 5-star addition for Jimbo Fisher this cycle.
