Financial figures released from Texas A&M’s new apparel deal with Adidas reveals the Aggies are tops in the SEC and third in college football overall when it comes to benefits, according to the Portland Business Journal.

According to the PBJ, the university will receive ‘$200,000 in “retail activation” and $450,000 in marketing support. It’s also guaranteed at least $333,000 in royalties.’ Michigan ($8.2 million) and UCLA ($7.5 million) are ranked 1-2 in the country and are both sponsored by Adidas.
By comparison, Alabama’s current Nike deal yields $780,000 in cash and $2.8 million in gear this season for the Crimson Tide.
That’s serious cash for the Aggies.
