WATCH: Texas A&M punter boots kick off teammate, continuing rough day

It’s been a tough day for Texas A&M P Shane Tripucka, who had a punt blocked and recovered for a touchdown just before halftime.
In the third quarter, things didn’t go much better, as he booted a kick off either a teammate or an Auburn player’s helmet.
As you can see below, this embarrassing mishap should have been avoided, but the Aggies can’t stay out of their own way (literally) against Auburn:

The Aggies faced a 35-20 late in the third quarter, so it’s hard not to think about what could have been if not for the two big special teams mishaps.
In an important game for embattled coach Kevin Sumlin, things aren’t going according to plan.
There’s still a long way to go, but the Aggies need better play on special teams to start to mount a comeback.
