Desmond Howard, Peyton Manning shared a victory cigar following Tennessee-Alabama

Was everyone allowed in the locker room following Tennessee’s win over Alabama?

The signs seem to point to yes. Desmond Howard, a Heisman winning receiver for Michigan, revealed that he shared a victory cigar with Peyton Manning following Tennessee’s season-defining win Saturday.

So much for a Manning curse.

For what it’s worth, Howard did pick Tennessee to win the game on College GameDay, though he had the eyes of a couple thousand Vols fans peering through the back of his head while he did it.

Kirk Herbstreit was the only host that didn’t pick Tennessee to win.

Tennessee looks to keep its magical season alive across the next 3 weeks, hosting UT Martin and Kentucky before travelling to Athens to take on top-ranked Georgia.
