Edwin Spillman is staying home. The blue-chip linebacker out of the Lipscomb Academy in Nashville will join his brother on Rocky Top.

Spillman announced his commitment to Tennessee on Friday. Nate Spillman, Edwin’s brother, signed with UT in December and enrolled in January. Edwin shared the big news on his Twitter account.

Spillman is listed as measuring 6-2, 214 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Spillman is rated 4-stars, the No. 8 recruit in the state of Tennessee, No. 28 linebacker and No. 337 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.

Josh Heupel’s squad beat out 33 other schools, including Georgia, Ohio State and Florida State to land Spillman’s pledge. The Vols were able to get Spillman on campus for multiple visits throughout the past few months.
