Gary Danielson receives backlash over alleged bias during call of Florida at Tennessee

Gary Danielson and Brad Nessler were on the “SEC on CBS” call of Florida at Tennessee, and fans were not happy with Danielson.

Some decided to change the channel ahead of time away from the key SEC game of the day, while others, namely Tennessee fans, called him out for perceived bias in favor of Florida. One fan even suggested CBS switch Danielson out for his former broadcast partner, Verne Lundquist. Another fan chose to watch the game online to avoid the Danielson commentary.

Danielson’s cause wasn’t helped by Tennessee trailing for much of the first half, as Anthony Richardson had his best game so far since the Utah win in the season opener.

Tennessee scored late to take a 17-14 lead into halftime.
