Grant Williams, former Tennessee F, named to 4-year NBPA leadership term, per report

Grant Williams started slow in the NBA, but has since become a key player for the Boston Celtics. Ask any Tennessee basketball fan and they could have seen it coming.
On Saturday, Williams was elected the first-VP of the National Basketball Players Association, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski. he will serve a 4-year term while Jaren Jackson and Donovan Mitchell will serv 3-year terms as VP’s.

Williams is a legend for those in Rocky Top. He’s one of the best players in recent franchise history and led one of the top Tennessee basketball teams in its history, narrowly missing out on the Elite Eight in 2018-19.
Williams is averaging just under 9 points and 5 rebounds per game.
