There are some fans in Knoxville are resting a lot on Nico Iamaleava being a Heisman-caliber QB at the University of Tennessee.
The former 5-star prospect certainly has talent. It’s just UConn, but he flashed some of that potential last Saturday, throwing his first career collegiate touchdown pass to TE McCallan Castles.

He told reporters that he kept the touchdown gloves and even asked Iamaleava to sign them. He’ll be hanging those up in his house soon.

Probably not a bad call.
Tennessee football has had a strong year, but no signature wins. That could change this weekend against Mizzou or next weekend in Knoxville against Georgia.
It’ll take a lot to down the Tigers in CoMo, though. Brady Cook and the Tigers’ passing attack can wreak havoc on Tennessee’s secondary. How will Tennessee’s defensive line perform?
Bringing pressure to Cook and forcing mistakes is a must for the Vols this Saturday on CBS at 3:30 p.m. ET.
