NFL sales pitch? Former Tennessee WR Josh Palmer explains how he’ll be a dynamic playmaker

Tennessee WR Josh Palmer is a notable prospect in the upcoming NFL Draft, and has been invited to the new-look NFL Combine.

While the Combine was moved to a virtual format this year, Palmer will have a chance to boost his stock during on-field workouts at Tennessee’s Pro Day, which has been scheduled for March 25. Palmer has been projected to go between the third round and the fifth round in the draft.

If he’s picked, Palmer will get a chance to show off the skills he honed at Tennessee, and he explained how he’s refined them in recent months.

“Every day I work on making tough catches,” he said on Sirius XM. “Back at Tennessee, I had these two Jug guys that would shoot Jugs at me every day for the past two years. Work on different catches, tough catches, jump-ball catches, over-the-shoulder catches. So it’s to the point now where I feel like I’m supposed to be making those impossible plays, those hard plays, I just feel like it’s a routine at this point.”

Palmer led the Vols last season with 33 catches for 475 yards and four touchdowns.
