Paul Finebaum says Tennessee’s win over Alabama can ‘ignite your program into a different universe’

Paul Finebaum was in the middle of the biggest weekend in college football this season, and now the attention turns to how Tennessee will move on after the huge upset of Alabama.
“When you’re at the epicenter of college football in that moment Saturday night, in truly one of the greatest scenes in modern college football history, it’s going to ignite your program into a different universe,” Finebaum said. “From a recruiting standpoint, from a branding standpoint. … How you come back from this is going to be a major test for Josh Heupel.”
That’s why it comes in handy that the Vols are playing UT-Martin this week, Finebaum said, instead of a top-flight SEC opponent on the road.
For the rest of the SEC, Tennessee now poses itself as a contender, and Finebaum said the SEC West is still unsettled because of Ole Miss’ start and upcoming schedule, and not to mention how Georgia will fare in the mix.
The @SECNetwork‘s Paul @Finebaum joined the guys on @MacandCube to discuss what @Vol_Football‘s win over @AlabamaFTBL means for the Tennessee football program moving forward.
