After winning his 700th career game, Rick Barnes treated to surprise celebration by his Tennessee basketball team

Rick Barnes should have seen this one coming.

Tennessee’s coach walked back into the locker room to greet his players following their 75-53 win over Jacksonville State on Saturday but the scene was a bit too quiet after an easy victory.

Before Barnes had an opportunity to address his squad, they “attacked” him with a surprise celebration after the coach officially joined the 700 club with Saturday’s win.

Barnes now has a 700-367 overall record, which gives him a winning percentage of .657 in his college basketball career. His current Tennessee team improved to 8-3 on the season with the win over Jacksonville State.
