Cleaning up the Tide? Tennessee basketball trolls Alabama heading into upcoming showdown

The way Tennessee’s social media team is talking leading up to the Volunteers’ trip to Tuscaloosa, they better hope Rick Barnes and company can pull out a road victory.

Otherwise, Tennessee’s social media team may be hitting the delete button pretty quickly on Tuesday night.

Both teams enter the game with a 12-9 overall record, which puts them in a tie for 7th place in the SEC. This game was already important for seeding status but now things have been taken up a notch thanks to a Tuesday morning image shared by Tennessee’s official basketball Twitter account.

This is an interesting message to share considering the Volunteers have lost three games in a row entering the matchup but the fact Alabama has dropped two in a row may give Tennessee some confidence heading into the showdown.
