It’s been quite the year for Tennessee athletics. Vol football finished the season with an 11-2 record, including a huge win over Alabama to snap a 15-year win drought in October. Months later, the Vols downed No. 1 Alabama in hoops, too.
The Vols won their most impressive game of the season Saturday evening, downing Duke in the Round of 32, 65-52. Following the game, Vols guard Tyreke Key noted that he in fact rushed the field with fans back in October when Tennessee snapped the streak over the Tide. To boot, he has kept his game ticket in his phone case ever since.
Now that’s dedication.

Tennessee advances to the Sweet 16 for the 2nd time under Rick Barnes with Saturday’s win over the Blue Devils. They will face one of FAU or FDU next week.
