The current perception around Knoxville is that Tennessee is having some locker room issues.
That may or may not be true, but Twitter has become a sort of message board for certain players.
Tennessee wide receiver Marquez Callaway, who happens to be by far the Vols’ most efficient target in terms of yards per catch and touchdowns, liked a tweet on Thursday evening that essentially described Butch Jones as a bad football coach.

Callaway later offered an explanation for the tweet, saying he simply knew the person who sent the tweet and wanted him to know he saw it.
The tweet Abt CBJ was nothing w/ my opinion,Ik the person who tweeted it and I wanted him to know I seen the tweet, nothing more nothing less

Some would say the explanation is believable, yet others have said not so much given the current perceived state of the football program.
Another Vols wide receiver added this after Callaway posted his explanation:
Things can get taken out of context sometimes ♂️
