Arch Manning is in his first month of college. The most prominent recruit in the 2023 recruiting class made headlines last week for doing the very freshman thing of fumbling his student ID on campus. This weekend, Texas fans were excited by seeing Manning in burnt orange on the practice field.
Justin Wells of Inside Texas shared a clip of Manning working out with a few Longhorn teammates. In the clip, Manning launches a deep ball dime with ease.

It’s just 1 pass of a freshman working out in shorts in January and throwing against air, but Texas fans on social media loved the little bit that they saw.

Manning is the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2023 recruiting class on the 247Sports Composite. He signed with Steve Sarkisian’s program in December after verbally committing in June.
Andrew writes about sports to fund his love of live music and collection of concert posters. He strongly endorses the Hall of Fame campaigns of Fred Taylor and Andruw Jones.
