Listed as measuring 5-10, 160 pounds, Barrett is listed as an ATH, a multi-position designation, on the 247Sports Composite. He is rated 3-stars, the No. 12 Tennessee recruit, No. 51 ATH and No. 541 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.
Barrett has picked up scholarship offers from 17 schools, including Arkansas, Ole Miss and Tennessee, during his recruitment. Defensive assistants for the Razorbacks and Volunteers were listed as Barrett’s recruiters for those programs. For Vanderbilt, wide receivers coach Alex Bailey led the Commodores’ pursuit.
With Barrett on board, VU now has 9 commitments. Barrett’s announcement came hours after the Dores landed a commitment from Guylijah Theodule, a cornerback out of Florida.
