Alabama RB Derrick Henry has made the decision to forgo his senior season to enter the 2016 NFL Draft.
The news was reported by ESPN’s Joe Schad on Thursday afternoon:
Alabama RB Derrick Henry, the Heisman Trophy winner, will enter the NFL Draft, source tells ESPN. Henry had 2,219 yards and 28 TDs.

Henry rewrote many of the Alabama single-season rushing records on his way to being named the Heisman Trophy winner and capped his historic season by leading the Crimson Tide to a national championship win against Clemson on Monday.
It will be interesting to see how he is evaluated as an NFL prospect, given his amazing combination of size and speed.
