You are correct, the hat Tebow is wearing is houndstooth...Funny think, Bear wore a regular checkerboard hat, so where is this houndstooth thing coming from? A tailor from Birmingham gave it to Bear in '68 or so (and claims to have created it). Funny thing Shug was wearing it in '66 or '67 according to the Glomerata (Auburn's yearbook). I have yet to see any of these threats that were directed at him. ..can someone give me a link to at least one? Not a story about it, an actual tweet or email. I still think it was a publicity stunt for the fundraiser. I don't think Auburn fans are above threats, I just haven't seen any evidence they were actually made.
