There's nothing to prove. All of a sudden if FSU stomps UGA they'll become #1 in the country? The bowl games are exhibition matches and recruiting opportunities, and more importantantly a way for the pine riders to see the field. The outcomes and strategies of these games aren't like in season or conference championship matchups. Should have been a 12 team playoff from the beginning.
A: Who is this asshat? B: STFU, nobody cares about bowl games outside of the playoffs, it's a meaningless game other than milking more money out of the fanbase.
Alabama's slide backwards has so many laying in the fetal position they can't even see the world correctly. Alabama has definitely been on a great run, sort of sad to see Saban mumble and stumble into the record books instead of knowing when to leave the stage.
Too many people, including many in Dawg Nation, hasn't given SBIV any credit and Kirby for keeping him at QB1. The program is built on everyone, not just one player. We opened with Oregon at full tilt, and closed with TCU, at full tilt.
Got to sell some tickets so put some clickbait headlines up.
You have to have the King's approval to do anything with money. The King wants the glory and its not to the coach or staff to go it on their own
This is what happens in guy circles. There wouldnt be an apology nor would one be needed... But people heard it especially the Misses who obviously has some leverage at home. so now, it's a big deal.
The game is always more competitive on neutral ground the 2nd time around. Que up last years SEC trophy hunt and the National. The better team won the 2nd time around and we'll see if UGA gets to test it's prowess against the Vols, assuming they make it through the playoffs.
Bennett is an anomoly. He's only as good as the game he's playing. You don't know if he will show up, flub up, or just point at himself saying it was his fault. What he has is, age and experience. And even more, the PLAYERS trust him. It's all the difference at the end of 4th QTR.
Alabama isn't going to the playoffs. With a seasoned, Heisman QB1 and a full stable of 5* talent. He's struggling. Rebuilding? He has the talent, where is the coaching?
"He was formerly employed by ESPN as an analyst".
If they can't do what they're supposed to do on the fields of practice, play, and off the field, then they need to delete their social media profiles. It's that simple. Either you can become an adult, or, not. This isn't high school ball, this is D1. SBIV took WAY more heat this this idiot. And he never faltered.
Kirby is back home fella, why in the world would he go back to a dumpster fire that will be Bama when Saban leaves.
You liked that bone we threw Bama so they could attend the dance right? It was so clear that game was fixed. Our defense was just standing at the line the whole time. Our walk on QB was doing what he does and did all season. Actually scored the season average.
The exhibition match, which is the SEC or any conference championship, was a yawner and meant nothing to UGA but was a bone thrown to Saban so he could get invited to the dance. Luckily he didn't trip doing the two step and made it to the real show. Where it was clear UGA had the advantage. Time will tell whether Kirby has the juice to turn out championship teams. I have the utmost respect for Saban and the program he has built. But it was quite evident he's faltering.
We barely showed up for the SEC Championship and it still could have gone either way. We took a quick nap, did a few reps in the gym and then commenced to cleaning up in the post season including making Bama look like a rec league team in the Natty. It was hilarious. But, that is past us now and we're on to the 2022 season. May the best team come out on top.
what's understood is Bama was manhandled in the 2022 Natty. If Kirby had just left Bama, had his new staff, and was working with old recruits to win, it'd be a different story. The reality is Saban is faltering, it's been obvious and his prowess is on a decline. Hate it for him, he's a great coach and I have respect for the program he's built.
Detroit is a cess pool of rats nests, im surprised he wasn't killed during his tenure there. They'll slink back to the no name status they were berfore he got there. He'll continue to prove his leadership abilities just as he did this year. He'll flourish with the Rams, if he and his family can survive California.
Were there any real standouts at QB this year? Should have been a defensive player at Heisman.
Bowl games are a hopd over from times of yore and really only placate the rivalries that have existed over decades. Its ALL about ad dollars and cash flow leaving young players vulnerable to their careers being upended. Go to a meaningful playoff system. Enough with the BS bowl games to make a buck.
We'll finally get to see the matchup that would have put Bama out of had UGA beat them in the sec championship. It was very evident the defense wasnt present so here we are, ready for the 2 top teams in the country. Its the Dawgs to lose.
C'mon Unkle Ricky, dont let your petty worthless pride keep you from doing the right thing.
No doubt and it will be the toughest win we can achieve all season. It will not be handed to us
The asshattery that is the "gater nation" can't be overshadowed. Good luck in the coming years.
JT has been injured. If he cant lead the team with his, and their confidence, stats are meaningless.
