Not really a fan of the SEC collectivist, "us-vs-them" mentality, but I love to watch their games. From top to bottom, they are the best conference without a doubt.

"He does not have the character to coach there, in an institution of higher learning, character is a must." I nearly fell out of my chair laughing at this comment. There's probably only one school in the whole SEC that fits that description, and that's Vanderbilt. The rest of you are football factories.
If it was Bama getting shutout, then yes! Quite ready! Ready for the program to go the way of SMU football as well!
And what could be better than that? Nothing would be more wonderful than for ND and Bama's places to be reversed.
All will be right when Bama goes on a 50 year drought without winning a single championship.
The fact that Ellis took the above comment seriously may just be a perfect example of why Georgia fans are among the most delusional in CFB.
He'd be a huge upgrade over either of LSU's current QBs. With good OL and consistent running game (both of which were absent many times at ND this year), this kid has lots of potential. It would be interesting to see how he does at LSU.
It'd be great if this (well actually, last year) was the start of a long draught for Bama...I hope that Notre Dame, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Texas all win national championships before Bama wins another one.
Got to put a positive spin on things...smh.
Something has to change? Sure it does! Why don't you transfer to the school that just beat you, where you actually have QBs who can pass you the ball?
I actually thought it was Yale when I first saw it...
No way LSU has any chance against Ole Miss...that would be more miraculous than ND having found a way to beat Bama in 2012.
The MIZZOU helmet looks like a complete ripoff of Oregon... On the other hand, the second Florida helmet actually looks pretty good. And where is the houndstooth Bama helmet?
The methodology is flawed... And what was the example he gave? Playing FCS schools...something the SEC does a lot of and ND never does.
Why? They'd hardly get any more favoritism than any other historic team. They're a great university with great academics. Why all the strong feelings from SEC fans?
ND is also 2-0 at Columbia... Interestingly enough, Fan Devine was coaching the Tigers during one of those games.
Seriously, what's with all the hate on ND from SEC fans? You'd think they're your biggest rival or something. The hatred for Notre Dame I see from SEC fans rivals or exceeds that from fans of Michigan, USC, etc. But hey, they are actually trying to schedule y'all (UGA in 2017 and 2019), and I for one hope they'll schedule at least one SEC team annually.
