The game was lost by A rkansas when bilema ran a power sweep on 3rd and 8 so his kicker could miss. He played not to lose instead of to win. As an Aggie, we know that well, bilema is an RC Slocum starter kit and played the 4th quarter like Sherman. On 4th and 8 with 2 minutes to go in the first half he let his punter take off and run but in the 4th quarter, with the game on the line he didn't let his QB throw an 8 yard pass.
I feel qualified to pass judgement here because I have been to football games at most of the schools on that list. I have been to Gainesville and saw them play Arkansas, it was as overrated an atmosphere as any I've seen, fans were nothing compared to the reputation I'd heard about the Swamp. Been to Bama for the Iron Bowl, worst fans I've ever seen, anywhere, bar none. Most of the fans didn't go to school there, to wit, the guy behind me peed in the stands, literally unzipped his pants and peed. We had expensive, good seats 10 rows from the field. Been to Georgia, for a game against Georgia Tech, great game but there were tons of seats. Calvin Johnson played for Tech, Stafford for Georgia, both teams were good but I guess I should have gone to the North Texas game because there were tons of tickets to be had. It's hard to beat Oxford, saw the egg bowl there an absolutely special place. Austin is a great town with crappy fans, they don't belong on the list, Austin can't get enough Longhorn interest to get the Longhorn Network standard with the cable package and nobody buys it. Went to the Oregon game a couple of years back against USC at the Coliseum then that night saw UCLA play Arizona, those venues are special but USC is in the middle of a demilitarized zone where you can't walk to your car and feel safe, UCLA plays 45 minutes away from its campus in Pasadena, I am sure LA does not make the cut. Penn State was raucous, they belong above most teams on that list, as does Ohio State, Ole Miss, Clemson, OU, Notre Dame and LSU. However far and away nothing compares to a game at Kyle Field. Classy fans. People leave games early everywhere, I hate that argument, but nobody has fans hang in until the end in numbers like aTm. Loud, man they are loud. They are a sleeping giant and the SEC may have woke them up. Ohio State had a big crowd wait in the rain after a shutout win over Minnesota so they could watch the band dot the I so that was close, but they were waiting on that, if it had happened at halftime, they'd be gone.
