Whatever the outcomes the one thing that shines through for me out of all the games...............is the SEC was virtually handicapped by at least 10-14 points by the officials. SEC players/teams got called for anything close while their opponents seemed to have Carte Blanch on holding, interfering, whatever...............Ohio State and Notre Dame particularly had HOLDS and TAKEDOWNS as well as Interference on almost every single play from scrimmage. It was hard to watch, but in spite of all that seeing them get beat or close to beat in spite of all their advantages (Cheating) kept my SEC faith alive. It happens every year, and the SEC still manages to win most of the time anyway, despite cheating officials and being handicapped. The powers that be had already decided that NO SEC TEAM would win the National Championship this year, no matter how they had to pull it off. Other conferences have been whining and losing money for almost a decade now so they had to fix it to pump the other Conferences up while preventing the SEC from another championship. Just normal business for the NCAA CFBA
Harris just aint got what it takes yet, they should have played Driskel, at least some. I would be different if Harris was our future but I promise you, he is not.
That wasn't a "Westbrook Drop", that ball was over his right shoulder behind him as he was moving left and clearly a bad pass. That was Harris's fault all the way!! Oh, and I don't care what Muschamp says, its clear as day on the replay.
FSU DID NOT MOVE UP, they have been #1 in the AP since last year and HAVE NOT LOST a game as of yet. Only the Committee rankings and the coaches poll (just this week) have put 1 loss teams ahead of FSU
Unfortunately the Gators have a lot more than just coaching problems right now. Treon isn't really that good (look how he's struggled vs E Kty today) but for some reason many of the Florida players execute better when he's in whereas when Driskel is in its almost like they don't try at all, leaving Jeff to fend for himself. Florida is going to suffer even more bad times until a Stern Coach with Strong leadership skills gets them under control and they start playing like a team without all their personal issues. **Time to rebuild *I foresee a few if not several players transferring over the next couple of years (and that's not necessarily a bad thing)
Yeah, Louisville never really developed offensively did they?
Maybe the better team that moment, but Miss St would probably have won on any other field. Just think how many mistakes State made and how bad they played then for Bama to only win by a few...............even after turnovers and all????????? Wow anyone would have beaten State under same circumstances
lol, you know why dude!! Let it go, it doesn't matter anymore I just want to know why the Miss St Player didn't get forward progress AND AVOID A SAFETY "After being pushed back into the end zone by a defender"
By Record and Stats, including strength of schedule and dominance of wins.........Miss State should still be ranked ahead of Bama. IYeah I know Bama beat them but hell, Ol' Miss beat Bama so should Ol Miss be ranked ahead of Bama?) State has a tougher schedule, more dominating wins, especially vs weaker teams and many say had that game been anywhere but Tuscaloosa they'd of probably won it. Go ahead and cuss and spit Bama fans, your own logic used to make Bama #1 , actually makes MS State the better team (Remember they lost to a Top 5 Team, Bama lost to a top 25 team)
At least someone applies equal logic. Bama also has struggling narrow victories against LSU (4 losses) Arkansas (unranked) and Tenn (unranked) but that loss to Ol' Miss (2 losses to 3+ loss teams) is not a "good loss" its also going to be a worse loss as the season closes. Bama for consideration of # 4 but FSU , Oregon and Miss St have better records than Bama. P.S. Those Dawgs looked like they could beat anyone Saturday.
LOL, seriously????????? Losing is one thing, but losing games you have won is another thing altogether!! Muschamp is NOT HEAD COACH MATERIAL!!
Definitely Targeting, straight up fits the definition
Forward Progress doesn't matter since its in Tuscaloosa? He was clearly knocked back into the end zone by a defender. The SEC officiating agenda is getting more and more obvious every week.
Whatever the case, this happens year in year out............... and Jp8791 Bama recruits many of the same players who the other teams recruit but they don't get them all, not even half of them............wonder about that for a while!
Actually it was all in cash and undisclosed perks
I watched Grier on the elite 11.........wow, Florida is fortunate to have this kid!
