I think it's about time Spurrier retired before there is too much egg on his face. Some of those offensive calls were absolutely dreadful. And if the players aren't good enough and the assistant coaches aren't good enough, than that falls on the shoulders of the head coach. Thanks for all you have done Spurrier but I think it's about time you retire and enjoy golfing and the beach.

Thanks AU, I missed that part. That does make more sense but even still I feel like with the exception of maybe Bama and LSU this list is a direct reflection of fan revenue.

This is a joke of a list right? We were nearly selling out Williams Brice during the 1-10 and 0-11 seasons, getting over 70,000 per game, and have sold out ever since then except for a few games against 1AA teams or lesser SEC opponents. Outside of Miss. State and Vanderbilt, SC probably has the smallest footprint in the SEC/sports across the country yet we continue to expand as a program year in year out. Not sure I really understand this because it says they include winning pct. & bowl participation into the ranking system. So in regards to that, I don't see how Arkansas could be 4, above Alabama & LSU, and Tennessee and Ole Miss be directly in front of us. On their page, they say that they have been criticized in the past for relying too much on the financial impact of fans' and I think that maybe this list still reflects that with Arkansas being so high in the conference and nationally and UT and Notre Dame being the top two.

I love how Clemson's class is ranked ahead of ours still. Oh the joys of beating them again and again in the future despite us being "less talented" and "not as good." Can't wait for Dabo's excuses.
