I'm looking forward to this game more than usual. Partly because I think it will be a great game, but also because I'm curious what exactly Alabama's offense will look like. There have been some rumblings during the offseason hinting at somewhat big changes on the offensive side of the ball. I'm very curious how much truth these rumblings might hold, and what this offense is going to look like. On another note, great article Murf! You and Ian Boyd are my favorite college football writers in regards to scheme breakdowns.
Literally no matter how you count Alabama has more Nattys than anyone in the SEC. As far as sketchy titles go, Auburn claims a title from a year where they were on probation and couldn't participate in bowl season. But please, tell me more.
Great write up. I would imagine that a full time move to receiver would greatly increase Drake's chances in the draft. I think he could be a great NFL slot receiver.
I hate to see it happen personally. I would like to see full autonomy for all three schools. I think they're all perfectly capable of surviving on their own.
What happened to the uncensored play-by-plays? Those we're actually funny.
Well full disclosure I was the only one among my group of friends that thought Missouri was going to win the east last year, perhaps that is why I am so bullish on them this year. Either way, I do think their strengths match up well with the other sec east frontrunners' weaknesses.
I believe Missouri is going to surprise some folks again this year.
I know this is article is more based on what teams would provide the most exciting match ups, but tradition-wise Penn State would make more sense for Alabama in my opinion. Nebraska and Oklahoma would be nice as well.
