The score he said wasn't wrong. The 55-19 score was referencing USC's 2004 national championship where Auburn felt like they should have gone to the NC instead.
I'm excited for Barnett and hope he can deliver as sold during recruiting. A running QB would be great next year with the outstanding WRs returning. Bo looks like Henry 2.0 but he may need time to really bring out his potential (hard to tell in his limited reps coming off an injury, but he has looked great lately).
Statistically, nearly 50% of Henry's yards were after contact. And Alabama had one of the worst offenses as far as negative plays because of a weaker than usual offensive line. Did you even watch Henry play? So many times he made plays by bouncing outside after the intended running lane was closed up, and countless more times he broke tackles, outran defenders, or made defenders miss.
Ok, while you may have some points to argue, the video examples you give go completely against your point. Your first video is on a play that everyone has agreed should not have been a TD because of a lineman way downfield. Wanna know why Minkah bit on the run? Because the linemen were blocking downfield. Your second video, you see Watson run through a huge running lane because OUs D-line got MASSIVELY destroyed. Good luck doing that to Alabama's D line.
You want Verne and Gary? Take them. Please.
Fitzpatrick had TWO pick-sixes last week, and he had a blocked punt for a touchdown, not a punt return for a touchdown.
Can't forget the linemen downfield. People seem to have missed that too.
Bold Prediction: Adam Griffith makes a field goal this week.
The game should be played in Birmingham, but Legion Field is the only option and it is not fit for any football game, much less the SECCCG. Until the city of Birmingham can get it's act together and build a stadium as nice as or better than the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the CCG needs to stay where it is.
I was getting ready to post this for you to see before I saw your comment. You deserve credit bro.
1) I could definitely see this happening if he stays healthy. 2) I'm not sold on the best in the division but they should be near the top.... I'll accept it as a bold prediction. 3) I'm not seeing it, as an Alabama fan I'm shocked Amari Cooper made it to the top 3 and I just don't see them voting another WR so high this year with so many good RBs. 4) I could see this happening if he does improve like you predict. 5) Georgia will split games between Alabama and Auburn.... Hopefully they beat AU. I'm not sure about Arkansas yet. 6) Nope. 7) Florida will get a low bowl game. 8) Florida will finish with 6-7 wins. 9) If Georgia pulls a Georgia then maybe. But I see Tennessee losing at least 3 division games. 10) Not even going to comment on this. Just no.
247Sports has him rated as a 4-star, the No. 22 defensive tackle and the No. 238 overall player.
Dak ran for 82 yards on 22 carries for an average of 3.7 yards.... with a 22 yard run to skew that data. That's only 5 carries less than both of Alabama's RBs combined. Alabama allowed 5 rushing touchdowns all year, with only 3 of those during the regular season. Mullen tried to beat a dead horse with the QB run and Dak got beat up and started making mistakes. It was all about the coaching in this one.
Good thing they will be operating in the black, would hate to see them be $1 Billion in the red...
"Cameron Artis-Payne (Auburn): 5-foot-10, 212 pounds, 29 5/8-inch arms, 8 7-inch hands" Man, those are some big hands.
If this article had included pictures of these mannerisms, I would be nominating it for article of the year. This is absolutely hilarious, but having to try and recall these manners by memory doesn't do them justice.
Despite being classified as Special Teams and not Defense, I think Scott is a staple of Alabama's defense. Imagine the pressure, the sheer demoralizing weight an offense must face from continually having to begin drives inside their own 20. I'm sure the defense is continually amped up when they get on the field every drive knowing any play could be a safety. This is a guy to design a defense around.
Not to current commits and there will be no future scholarships given out.
I think that's the point. Everyone wants to see FSU get destroyed before making it to the final game (since seemingly nobody can stop them from getting into the playoffs).
But Stephen, you just predicted Alabama to win in your MS vs. Alabama prediction....
