Justin Shaffer is electing to stay in his backyard.

The 2017 offensive guard prospect flipped his commitment to Georgia from Louisville on Monday. The 6-foot-5, 332-pounder from Ellenwood, Ga., made the announcement this afternoon on Twitter.

Shaffer, a three-star prospect according to 247Sports, made the decision after visiting Athens over the weekend.

The Bulldogs now have four commitments for 2017, including five-star defensive back Richard LeCounte and a pair of four-star linebackers in Jaden Hunter and Breon Dixon.
