It didn’t take Steve Spurrier long before he took a jab at long-time SEC East rival Tennessee at SEC Media Days.

Spurrier hasn’t beaten Tennessee in two seasons, and the Vols are the team that kept the Gamecocks out of Atlanta in 2013. The Gamecocks also blew a fourth-quarter lead in 2014 to eventually lose in overtime 45-42.
Tennessee fans don’t like Spurrier too much, and several of them reacted to his comments on Twitter:
