Terrible news to report out of Tuscaloosa the day after Alabama’s devastating loss in the National Championship Game to Clemson, as a reported hostage situation has broken out at a local credit union.

According to AL.com, SWAT team is on the scene and has the building surrounded.

The credit union must be incredibly close to Alabama’s campus as the address of the building is 220 Paul W Bryant Drive.

Update: The suspect has been taken into custody and all the hostages appear to be okay, the University of Alabama said via Twitter. Thankfully, this scary situation looks to have had a peaceful ending.
