Report: Jauan Jennings hoping to meet with Jeremy Pruitt, Phillip Fulmer
Earlier this year, Tennessee star WR Jauan Jennings was kicked off the team by then-interim coach Brady Hoke and then-AD John Currie after a social media outburst.
Shortly thereafter, Jennings said he’d do what he could to earn his way back onto the team, and he’s still hoping to do that.
Now that Currie is gone and Hoke is no longer the interim coach, Jennings is hoping to meet with new AD Phillip Fulmer and new coach Jeremy Pruitt to discuss his future with the Vols:
Was told a bit ago that Jauan Jennings is hoping to at least meet with new Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt & AD Phillip Fulmer in regards to possibly being allowed back into the program. He is currently not enrolled at Tennessee according to database.

Hearing same. Jauan is not at all a bad dude. Deserves a zero-strikes chance https://t.co/GHV1y1Tp8l

Jennings played in the season-opener against Georgia Tech before getting hurt and missing the rest of the season. He wanted to play in the finale against Vanderbilt, but after his social media outburst, Hoke wouldn’t allow that.
Now, Jennings will have to prove he’s learned from his mistakes and, if he is eventually allowed back on the team, it’ll likely be with a very short leash.
However, the Vols could certainly use the star receiver on the field in 2018.
