Now that Stephen Johnson has used up his college eligibility, the Kentucky Wildcats are in search of a new quarterback.

However, that quarterback won’t be Drew Barker, who started last season as the Kentucky signal caller before getting hurt.

On Tuesday night, Barker announced that he would finish his final year of college at a different university as a graduate transfer:

He has yet to announce a transfer destination, but there will probably be plenty of interest in Barker this spring.

During the early signing period, the Wildcats landed dual-threat JUCO QB Terry Wilson, so it’ll be interesting to see if Wilson can land the starting job next year.

The Wildcats played well under Johnson the past couple of years, and it seems as if Wilson will bring a similar style of play to Lexington next year.
