It appears Martez Ivey’s position in Dan Mullen’s offense undetermined at this point

A mainstay of Florida’s offensive line since he arrived on campus, Martez Ivey has 31 starts and made a total of 36 appearances during his collegiate career for the Gators. While experienced, the senior lineman still has to prove his worth to new co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach John Hevesy.
Despite his lengthy experience on the field, his position heading into his fourth and final season in Gainesville remains up in the air at this point. During Hevesy’s media availability with local media on Thursday, the Florida assistant offered up his thoughts on the former five-star recruit.
Ivey could have declared early for the 2018 NFL Draft, but according to Hevesy, that would have been a mistake.
"I think he made he right decision," Hevsey said of Martez Ivey returning for his senior season.

During his college career, Ivey has shifted between guard and tackle for the Gators after signing as the nation’s No. 1 tackle prospect in the 2015 recruiting class. Hevesy isn’t ready to commit to saying which position the massive lineman will play for the Gators in the team’s new offense in 2018:

Of course, there’s a ton of work to be done before the Gators even think about taking the field against Charleston Southern in the Sept. 1 opener. Hevesy seems far more interested in seeing which linemen he inherited are ready to earn a starting spot and less concerned with where they will be lined up when the Gators take to the field for the first time in 2018.
