The LSU Tigers have been waiting anxiously for graduate transfer CB Terrence Alexander, a former Stanford player, to arrive in Baton Rouge.

However, he had to wait until he officially graduated from Stanford, which uses a quarter system, to get cleared to join the Tigers.

Now, though, he’s expected to join his new team on Monday, according to a report from NOLA.com:

Alexander finished up his courses last week and graduated Sunday (June 17). Now, he’s made his way to Baton Rouge and will officially join the team on Monday, according to multiple sources at LSU.

Alexander will compete for a starting job alongside returning star Greedy Williams. His experience at Stanford could give him the edge over the other candidates for the position.

Alexander played in 27 games during his time at Stanford, recording one interception and seven pass breakups.
