When you can throw for 300 yards and three touchdowns in a game, no matter what level of football you’re playing, you’ve had a good night.

When you can do that in the first half, you’re having and unbelievable night.

On Friday, Alabama 2019 QB commit Taulia Tagovailoa, the brother of current Crimson Tide QB Tua Tagovailoa, accomplished just that in the first half of his Thompson High School game. Per reports from the game, the younger Tagovailoa had 309 passing yards and three touchdowns while leading Thompson to a 28-7 halftime lead:

Per the 247Sports composite, Tagovailoa is the No. 6 pro-style quarterback in the class of 2019 and the No. 8 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.

As Tua battles with Jalen Hurts for the starting job at Alabama this season, Taulia’s performance indicates that a Tagovailoa vs. Tagovailoa quarterback battle could be coming to Tuscaloosa in the near future.
