T.D. Moultry has only two tackles through Auburn’s first four games of the season, and the sophomore linebacker hasn’t had much playing time for the Tigers.

But this week, Auburn coach Gus Malzahn shared what Moultry can do to get more time on the field.

“He needs to be more consistent,” Malzahn said, according to Matt Zenitz of AL.com. “He’s got a skillset. He just needs to be more consistent and execute what they call.”

Last season, Moultry had 15 tackles and 1.5 sacks in a backup role for the Tigers. This year, he’s been a backup to Nick Coe and Big Kat Bryant.

Moultry recorded both of his tackles in Auburn’s 63-9 win over FCS opponent Alabama State on Sept. 8.

Moultry was a 4-star recruit out of Jackson-Olin High School in Birmingham, Ala.

Perhaps Moultry will get more playing time on Saturday, when No. 10 Auburn hosts Southern Miss at 4 p.m. ET.
