After a horrendous year defensively, Ole Miss fired defensive coordinator Wesley McGriff, who had been with the program since 2017.

Now, the Rebels have hired former Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre to run the defense, but McGriff has found a new job.

Per a report on Saturday, McGriff is joining Willie Taggart’s defensive staff at Florida State for the 2019 season:

Reporter Jim Henry went on to say that McGriff would serve as the Seminoles’ defensive backs coach, a position he is familiar with.

McGriff has been a DB coach for most of his career, dating back to 1990, serving at Kentucky, Miami, Vanderbilt, Auburn and other schools during that time.
