The Kansas City Chiefs made former LSU RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire the final pick of the first round in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Many fans and analysts were excited about how Edwards-Helaire fit in the Chiefs’ dynamic offense, and he’s lived up to those expectations thus far.

In the third quarter of Thursday night’s NFL opener against the Houston Texans in Kansas City, Edwards-Helaire broke a tackle and scored his first NFL touchdown on a great 27-yard run:

Late in the third quarter, Edwards-Helaire has 102 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. He hasn’t made a catch yet, but that figures to be a big part of his game, too.

The Chiefs lead the Texans 24-7, and the offense looks to be just as impressive as it was during the Super Bowl season last year.
